Unsuspecting people are havign there photo taken when purchasing Gillette razor blades from British super-markets.

There are a few options on avoiding this. Firstly, stop buying Gillette products at the super-market, secondly, you can fight back.
You can use a small magnet to interfere with the RFID tag which will stop it working, or you can get your very own RFID tag from RSA that will stop it taking a photo. Personally, I would rather see them off the shelves as this is an invasion of privacy for those who are actually buying them and not stealing them.
There are better ways to prevent theft, and it does not involve taking my god damn picture just because I need new blades.
Who in there right mind allowed this to be put into production?

not really. I thought the green snake skin suit you advised I wear might have given me the edge, but alas it was not to be
